The Kyrie Wall
Here, we are invited to pause and reflect on the difficulties of life. Many things may worry us, and we carry the weight of what has hurt us. Often, these burdens build walls between us and life.
We need to stop from time to time, expressing our feelings and thoughts about our situation. This brings us one step closer to hope. Here, you are invited to complain and cry out. Here, you are invited to ask for help.
-
Place your hand on the wall.
-
Express your feelings regarding suffering, pain, anger, fear,
despair, uncertainty, or anything else weighing on your heart.
-
Conclude with the following words:
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
Kyrie eleison
Christe eleison
Kyrie eleison
