About this sacred place:
In the southwest corner of the park stands this tree, a symbol of life’s quiet,
transformative processes. Beneath its majestic form, slow and unseen
changes unfold. Though we may not always witness them, beneath the bark
and beneath the soil, conditions are created for new life to flourish—both for
trees and for all of us who walk this path of pilgrimage.
